The city of Bucharest, Romania welcomed the world of Dance Sport for the 2025 DSE Annual General Meeting on the 14th of June in the beautiful Radisson Blue hotel.

We are extremely delighted to announce the participation of 29 countries ,represented by their official delegates. During the meeting has  been presented the long therm  projects of DSE with their strategy and goals. In collaboration with our New Project Commission, we are reviving the concept of DSE European Challenge Cups (team matches), with the new idea of incorporating show elements and other dance disciplines .

We are happy to announce that the number of DSE competition continue to increase every year.

For the second consecutive year, DSE has established cash vouchers for all medalist of all categories with the total amount of 4300 euro.

During the meeting has been elected new General Secretary Miss Violeta Yaneva.

On behalf of the President Mr. Robert Wota and all Managing Committee we would like to express our sincere gratitude to Mr. Luigi Bodini for his excellent work during last two years.

We are  looking forward to continue the developing of DSE for a great future.

We congratulate the organizers of Latvia for the support given to Dancesport Europe and the development of competitions for younger categories. The DSE Children GP has been placed in Daugavpils (LAT) on 27th April 2025 and welcomed athletes who competed on the dancefloor with honesty and enthusiasm.

67 couples from 8 countries faced each other with honest competition on the island of Cyprus at the Cyprus Open Dance Festival 2025. Thanks to the organizers for their efforts to make the event a success and to support DSE in spreading dance among the younger generations.

62 couples from 16 nations competed in the enchanting location on the island of Mallorca on March 30th at the DSE Children GP 2025. We congratulate the organizers for the great success of the event and for the commitment they put into making it happen.

The DSE Children GP 2025 took place on March 22nd in Klaipeda, Lithuania. Thanks to the organizers for their commitment and passion in organizing the event which saw young couples compete on the dancefloor with passion and determination.

The Austrian Pyramid Cup 2025 held on February 22/23 hosted another edition of the Dancesport European Children Grand Prix. The venue was again the unique Eventpyramide in Vösendorf, where the dancefloor is framed with palm trees creating such a very special atmosphere.

A total of 110 entries from 16 different countries over the 3 age categories in Standard and Latin prove the popularity of this event among the young talented dancers. The Juvenile Latin category saw the Moldovan couple Bogdan Balaban – Polina Sotnicova victorious whereas in the Standard discipline Rad Nicolas David – Rad Elena-Maria from Romania took the title.

The Junior I Latin had a strong battle with  the Czech partnership Sebastian Davidek – Viktorie Davidkova taking the top spot. The Junior I Standard saw the couple Oskars Vasiljevs – Eva Dmitricenko victorious.

In the Junior II Latin category the Moldovan couple Stefan Mantu – Emiliana Procopciuc took the title winning all five dances clearly. Jan Szewczyk – Maja Bartkiewicz from Poland took the top spot in the Standard dances from the winners in the Latin category.

The organizing team of the Austrian Pyramid Cup would like to take the opportunity to thank all the supporters of the competition without the help of which it would be impossible to run this event. And they hope to see you all again for another edition of the Austrian Pyramid Cup on 21/22 February 2026.
